Combine your vacation on the “iron island” of Cyclades with the unique revitalizing effect of Taijiquan and Qigong.

The courses include:

  • Five animals’ frolics”. We will play, exercise body and mind, relieve stress and rejuvenate by mimicking the movements of tiger, deer, bear, monkey and bird./li>
  • Selected characteristic Tai Chi movements such as “Cloud Hands”, “Grasping the Sparrow’s Tail”, “Single Whip”, “Repulse Monkey”, “Parting the Wild Horse’s Mane” will give us the opportunity to experience the beneficial effects of this unique art.
  • Additional breathing and stretching exercises to increase elasticity, wellness and relaxation.
The lessons take place every day from Tuesday to Saturday.
The duration of each lesson is 90 minutes.
The last lesson (Saturday) will take 2 hours.
You can choose either the morning session (8:00-9:30) or the afternoon session (19:30-21:00).
Participation fee for five-day course is 55 euros.
For unemployed, retired, students and for members of the same family the participation fee is 45 euros.
For those who would like to participate in both the morning and the afternoon sessions, the fee is 80 euros.

Taijiquan (太极拳)

Taijiquan (or Tai Chi) is a traditional Chinese art with a vibrant history of several centuries.
It is considered to be an internal martial art, a kind of moving meditation, a kind of tasteful slow dance or a method of healthy exercise suitable for people of all ages.
Regardless how one may approach it, Tai Chi remains unique for the beneficial effects on both body and mind. Improved immune and cardiovascular systems, stronger, more elastic and healthier body, increased well-being and self-confidence, better concentration and less stress are just some of the "gifts" that Tai Chi offers to millions of practitioners all around the world.

Qigong (气功)

Qigong (or Chi Kung) is a living treasure that has its roots in ancient China.
It’s specially designed forms aim at maintaining good health and developing strength and flexibility by regulating body, mind and breathing so that they move together as one.
Modern medical studies documented impressive results in groups of people who have been practicing ‘Health Qigong’ routines for six months.
These routines are suitable for people of all ages and can be an enjoyable way of exercise for everyone, as they consist of elegant movements that can be performed along with special music.
